How is security managed at Adpiler?

**As a company that takes data security for you and your customers very seriously, we recognize that our security practices are important to you. **

While we don’t like to expose too much detail around our practices (as it can empower the very people we are protecting ourselves against), we have provided some general information below to give you confidence in how we secure the data entrusted to us.

Data center security

Our web server and database server are running in a main data center, located in The Netherlands, and is fully redundant.
This data center a Tier 3 data center, ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified, and they manage physical security 24/7 with biometric scanners.
All the servers are running latest security updates and are patched immediately when a security patch is published.
All uploaded files from our users are stored at AWS Amazon S3, region EU (Frankfurt) eu-central-1. This is a external and replicable server.
Our system has a monitoring system allowing us to be aware of issues before those are noticed by our users.
The web server and database server have automated monitoring systems in place to detect and alert security anomalies and health of components.

Protection from data loss

All data is regularly backed up on a physical different location.

Setup a custom domain

Instead of being directed to preview.adpiler.com, your preview page URL can be something much more brandable, like https://preview.yourcompany.com. You will need CNAME Records to all do this. It might be a bit tricky at first sight, but it is easier then you think.

Step 1: Add CNAME record to your DNS

You’ll need to create a CNAME record with your DNS provider or wherever your domain is managed to point at our hosts. You can follow the steps below or contact your hosting provider’s support team directly.

Sign in to your domain hosting service
Navigate to your DNS management page
Find the CNAME record settings
Create a new CNAME record:
- Enter a value for your sub-domain in the host field (For example, you’d enter “preview” if you want to set up “preview.yourcompany.com”)
- Choose for “CNAME” in the Type field
- Type ‘preview.adpiler.com’ in the Value field
Save the changes to your DNS records

Step 2: Tell Adpiler to use your subdomain

||| Changes in your DNS-records can take up to 24 hours. Make sure your new CNAME record (as set in Step 1) is active before you continue with this step.

Log in into Adpiler and go to White-labels from the user menu. This is only available for owners and admins. Click on an existing white-label to edit or add a new white-label to set your subdomain you just created in your DNS-records (For example: https://preview.yourcompany.com).

Your first campaign: step by step

| Great! You’re only 1 minute away from your first created campaign and related preview page. Click the button ‘Upload’ from the menu and follow the steps below. You will be guided through all the steps to create your first campaign, upload the files, and get the preview page you can share with your client.

Step 1: Upload files

Select to create a new client. If this is your first time and you don't have any client in your account, 'New client' might be selected by default for you.

Client: Enter the name of the new client
Team members with access: What team members are involved for this client? Team members will receive email notifications. If you don't have any team members invited yet, this option won't be visible. Campaign: Enter the name of the campaign you are going to upload files for

Step 2: Upload files

Click in the area to open your file browser, or drop your files. You can upload image files (like .gif, .png or .jpg), HTML5-ads as a zip-file, and video files (like .mp4 and .webm). You can upload them all together in 1 bulk zip-file or as separate files. The Smart Uploader will do the work for you.

After uploading your files, you see the files listed. Feel free to change the name of the file or even delete files you don’t need.

Who will receive a notification?

Some actions are worth an email notification. The following actions trigger an email notification:

New comment
New files uploaded to a campaign
File approved
Comment (un)resolved

Team members that are associated to a client

Logged in team members are always in control. For example, when you leave a comment, you will see the number of people who will get an email notification.

Clicking that text will open a modal where you can edit the people. Add or remove team members, or add or remove external emails.

Update your files

After you have created your campaign files, you might update the files or add new files to the same campaign. Drill down to your client and campaign on the platform, and click the button ‘Update files’ to add or overwrite existing files.

If you need to overwrite an existing file in the campaign, just select the file you want to overwrite in the dropdown.

Bulk match

The ‘Bulk match’-feature helps you to easily overwrite your existing files.

Clicking this button will pre-fill the files that will be overwritten. No file will be overwritten automatically, so you will have all the control. The dropdown shows the file that will be overwritten, and Bulk match helps you to save time on this.

Your agency has sent you a link to a preview page with creative files. The preview page lists all your files and gives you more tools to preview files, to give feedback, and to give final approval. You don't need to have any account on Adpiler to use the preview page as a client. This document will explain you the essential and optional features on such preview page.

View your files

The preview page shows you all the files your agency is sharing with you. Use the dropdown in the header to view the files one by one. The second dropdown "Preview your ads on sites" might be enabled by your agency. When enabled, you could how your ads can look on real websites. Those websites are not realtime, but give you a good understanding about the real context.

Versions: Click to see the previous versions for this file (optional)
