Allow comments on files
Allowing clients to leave comments on the files will improve your feedback loop. But in some cases, you are not open to feedback from clients. Switching this off will disable comment mode on the preview page. Creating a new campaign brings you to this setting in step 4. As with everything, you can change these settings afterwards. Drill down to the client and the specific campaign.
Download: Change name and structure of files
The files from a preview page can be downloaded as zip-file. You have 2 defaults to set. Move over to Account > Account settings to find 'Download' to change those defaults, which will be applied to all preview pages within your account. Structure Zip-file with each file separated (default): You will get 1 zip-file which contains all the different files in the same folder. Can I change the sorting of the files?
Sure. You can manually change the order of files within a campaign by dragging and dropping files. You can also automate this by using the button 'Sort files' to sort by file name or file dimensions. The order of files shown in this campaign will be the same as the files are ordered on the preview page.
HTTPS for my preview page
Your preview pages are, by default, running on preview.adpiler.com. You can change to your own custom domain Why not using HTTPS? In general we advise you to use HTTPS for your preview pages. Is a comment assigned to frame in an animation?
Yes. We have time-based comments, which is very useful for animations. Animated HTML5-ads, animated gif files, and video files will make use of those time-based comments. See below for the animation. Password protected preview pages
All preview pages are on unique URL’s. Although it’s nearly impossible to guess that URL (ten characters means 36^10 combinations…), you might feel more comfortable with setting a dedicated password to that page. Enable this feature and choose your own password. When requesting the preview page a password is required from now. Creating a new preview page brings you to this setting
Commenting on preview pages
Forget all the emails sending back and forth from and to your client. Your client can easily leave a comment ón the ad. How to enable comments? Comments are by default enabled. If enabled, all users can leave a comment on a preview page. Team members can login with their own email to leave a comment. Clients just need to identify themself with a name and email. Approve preview page
When switched on, users will find a button ‘Approve’ on your preview page. The user can approve files one-by-one, or all files within that campaign. When approved, we save the name, time, and IP of the user, and will send that data to all team members. Creating a new campaign brings you to this setting in step 4. Preview page versus client page
Only users you have invited to your account have access to the platform. Normally you would not invite your client for such access. The pages you can access without an account, and are shared with clients, are the Preview page and the Client page. Preview page This is the most important and most used page.
