Import and export Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram)
This feature is currently in closed beta. Please contact support@adpiler.com for more information.
Adpiler allows you to import Meta ads (Facebook and Instagram) and export Meta mockups to make your workflow with clients easier. This can save you time and avoid double work when reviewing or reusing campaigns.
If you already have created ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), you can import those into Adpiler as mockups.
First, export the ads from Meta Ads Manager. Instructions can be found here:
How to export ads from Meta
Make sure you export the ads in '.xlsx' format.
In Adpiler, go to “Create mockup” and when selecting a network, click Import Meta, at the bottom of the screen.

Due to Meta’s export format, images and videos are not included in the exported file. You can manually upload assets to complete the mockup.
If you created mockups in Adpiler and want to publish them via Meta Ads Manager:
In your Adpiler campaign, select one or multiple Facebook or Instagram mockups.
Click the Export Meta button to generate a .zip file.

On Meta, choose to import from file and upload the .xlsx inside the zip. In the same popup, upload the ad assets (images/videos) that were also included in the zip, in another tab.
Meta does not allow uploading multiple videos in a single ad (e.g. carousel with multiple videos).
When importing into Meta, a new campaign is created automatically but it will be set to paused by default.
